Virginia's 3-Day Sales Tax Holiday | August 2-4, 2024
The 3-day sales tax holiday is this weekend. During the sales tax holiday, you can buy qualifying school supplies, clothing, footwear, hurricane and emergency preparedness items and NOT be charged sales tax.
While Senior (Class of 2025) Registration opened this morning at 9 AM, a reminder that Juniors may not register for parking at GAHS for the 24-25 school year until this Thursday, August 1st at 9 AM. Any Junior submissions prior to then will be discarded electronically. Thank you.
To honor their seniority, parking decals for Seniors are now available to reserve starting this morning, Monday, July 29th at 9 AM, using an online Google Form, which has been shared via Schoology and ParentSquare. This priority allows seniors a better chance to secure a decal!

Learning firsthand today in Ms. Farmer's African American History class: Ms. Joyce Jefferson shared the tough times when schools shut down in 1959 instead of integrating in Prince Edward County, VA. Her story hits hard, reminding us all why education and equality matter.
