“Silent No More” Program

On Tuesday, January 28, at 6:00 p.m. in the Auditorium,  the Glen Allen High School PTSA is hosting “Silent No More,” which is a program about opioid abuse and the opioid epidemic.

Students will be attending the same program either on Tuesday, January 28 or Thursday, January 30 during 3rd period.

Attached are resources to help with opioid abuse.

Senior Yearbook Ads

Senior Parents/Guardians: Are you interested in purchasing a congratulatory advertisement in the 2020 yearbook for your senior? If so, please download the attached order form and read the directions carefully. All ads must be pre-paid and meet the standards specifically explained on the order form.

Please return the order form, ad materials, and payment to the attention of Ms. Lindsey Pantele, Yearbook Advisor, by Friday, November 22, 2019.

Underclassmen Picture Make-ups/Retakes (11/18)

Any 9th, 10th, or 11th grade student who needs to either have their picture taken (or re-taken) for this year’s yearbook, the date is Monday, November 18th and will take place in the GAHS Auxiliary Gym. Please use the link below to sign up for your pictures!

Note: It is the student’s responsibility to remember what time they signed up for! If you miss your designated time, there will not be another opportunity to get your picture taken!

Homecoming Information

  1. Spirit Week is Monday through Friday. Monday- Pajama Day, Tuesday- Choose your Decade Day, Wednesday- Meme Day, Thursday- Twin Day, Friday- Teal Out/ Spirit wear
  2. Homecoming Fair– food and fun before the football game, 5pm-6:30pm, bring the whole family!
  3. Homecoming Dance Tickets– Tickets will be on sale from 8:30-8:55am, in the commons and during all lunches , Monday- Thursday. $10.00 per Ticket, NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD FRIDAY. Tickets will NOT be sold at the door! Guests need a signed permission form from the guest’s school. Senior Make-Up Portraits (9/11/19)

Attention Seniors and senior parent/guardians! Freshman Class Orientation 8/22/19

Parents and Guardians of the Freshman Class of 2023,

Don’t miss out on Glen Allen’s freshman orientation program that focuses on helping to ease the transition into high school.  Freshmen will get to meet other students and teachers, experience a pep rally, and tour the school, all before the first official day of school on September 3rd.  Freshman Orientation takes place on 8/22 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm, with registration starting at 12:45pm.  Parents are welcome to stay, but are also encouraged to drop their child off.  Lastly, parents will have an opportunity to pay fees, sign electronic forms, and pick up your student’s laptop on 8/22, between the hours of 12:45 pm – 1:30 pm and again between 4:00 pm -6:00 pm.
